Like most people, my greatest inspiration is my family. My parents are strong, beautiful people. Their decision to come to the United States and make a better life for themselves makes them an inspiration to me. They are the American Dream.

- I love this picture I took of The Golden Gate Bridge. The diversity of people and cultures, mixed with God given geography and man made architectural wonders make San Francisco a truly special place. San Francisco is a source of endless inspiration!!
- Wow... the colors, the texture, the spirit... did I mention the COLORS? Love it!! When I look at this so many design ideas come to mind!
- My Husband Will... he is my best friend, my partner, and my number one fan! He’s a really good listener and a great sounding board for design ideas. He inspires me to be my very best!
- Great design doesn’t have to be complicated! I love how the combination of simple lines, soft shapes and subtle colors can create a texture that’s both unexpected and inviting!! This picture captures that concept sooooooo perfectly. LOVE IT!
- Since inspiration doesn’t just happen weekdays between 9am and 5pm... I rarely leave home without my camera. You just don’t know when... or where... or what you will find!! Again, it was the shapes, textures and colors of these Heirloom tomatoes that caught my eye. Delicious and inspirational!
- I have to travel a lot for work. In Hong Kong I find inspiration in the big, bold graphics of the street signs. On their own, these signs are over-powering and demanding! But, in the context of a city like Hong Kong... they’re a perfect compliment to the hugeness of the city and its non-stop energy. Sometimes inspiration transcends language barriers!
- I’m always inspired by vivid, vibrant colors... and delicious food! The rich colors and unique textures make it possible to practically TASTE the food in this picture!! YUMMMM!!
- Where’s Waldo?? Just kidding. My husband and I call this “the junk box picture”... to me this picture screams “Flea Market”!! A random, disconnected mish-mash of items and ideas presented in a way that somehow makes perfect sense! If you can’t find inspiration at a flea market... you’re just not trying!
- I love to collect unique posters, postcards and matchbooks when I travel. This was a postcard/flyer I picked up in Paris last year. Again, you can get a sense of the music and the musician this flyer is promoting without knowing the language or the music... the images, motifs and colors tell the story.
- My running shoes, they help me draw inspiration from within... and they inspire me to keep me going!! When I put them on I’m able clear my mind and focus my thoughts...
- ...and EAT WELL!! Words to live by!! Every time I see this poster it makes me SMILE.
- It may come as a surprise to many people... but I actually find inspiration on vacation!! :) This pic is from Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Taking the time to relax the body, rejuvenate the mind and refresh the senses makes life more fulfilling... and helps me in the endless pursuit of my inspirations!!
